📜 How Rangamati got its name
The soil here is reddish — 'ranga mati', red earth. That gave the name Rangamati.
How to get to Rangamati
Rangamati is about 310 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 7–8 hours.
- 🚌 By bus: Shyamoli, Hanif, S. Alam from Sayedabad/Kalabagan; non-AC ৳800–950, AC ৳1,300–1,800.
- 🚗 By road: For Sajek, chander gari from Khagrachhari town (via Dighinala, with an army escort).
