এই নীতি Unseen Bangladesh ওয়েবসাইট (unseenbangladesh.com) এবং গুগল প্লে-র অ্যান্ড্রয়েড অ্যাপের জন্য প্রযোজ্য। অ্যাপটি আসলে এই ওয়েবসাইটটিই খোলে, তাই দুটোর নিয়ম একই।

সংক্ষেপে

• কোনো অ্যাকাউন্ট বা সাইন-আপ নেই।
• কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন নেটওয়ার্ক, অ্যানালিটিক্স বা ট্র্যাকিং নেই। স্পন্সর গোযায়ান (GoZayaan)-এর ব্যানার ম্যাপে আর ট্রিপ প্ল্যানারে দেখানো হয়, কিন্তু সেটি আমাদের সাইট থেকেই আসে; আপনার কোনো তথ্য তাদের কাছে যায় না। ব্যানারে চাপলে গোযায়ানের ওয়েবসাইট খুলবে, তখন তাদের নীতি প্রযোজ্য।
• আপনার বাছাই করা জেলা, নাম, ছবি ও ট্রিপ প্ল্যান শুধু আপনার ফোন বা কম্পিউটারেই থাকে। আমরা এগুলো দেখতে পাই না।
• ব্যতিক্রম: ম্যাপ ডাউনলোড করলে শুধু কয়টি জেলা বাছাই করেছেন সেই সংখ্যাটি (কোন জেলা, তা নয়), কুইজের স্কোর কার্ডের শেয়ার লিংক ও লিডারবোর্ড, আর লুকানো রত্ন ফর্মে আপনি যা পাঠান, যদি আপনি নিজে ব্যবহার করেন (নিচে দেখুন)।

"শীর্ষ কত %" হিসাব

বাংলাদেশ ম্যাপ ডাউনলোড করলে আপনি কতগুলো জেলা বাছাই করেছেন শুধু সেই সংখ্যাটি (যেমন ২৩) ফোনের এলোমেলো আইডিসহ আমাদের সার্ভারে পাঠানো হয়, যাতে দেখানো যায় আপনি কত শতাংশ ভ্রমণকারীর মধ্যে শীর্ষে আছেন। কোন কোন জেলা বাছাই করেছেন, আপনার নাম বা ছবি পাঠানো হয় না, আর এই সংখ্যা কারও নামের সাথে দেখানো হয় না।

লিডারবোর্ড

কুইজ বা ম্যাপ পাজল শেষে আপনি নিজে "নাম তুলুন" চাপলে আপনার দেওয়া নাম আর ফলাফল (নম্বর, সময়, ভুলের সংখ্যা) আমাদের সার্ভারে রাখা হয় এবং লিডারবোর্ডে সবার জন্য দেখা যায়। একই ফোন থেকে আপনার সেরা ফলাফলটিই রাখতে ফোনে একটি এলোমেলো আইডি রাখা হয়। প্রতারণা ঠেকাতে IP ঠিকানার একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত এনক্রিপ্টেড রূপ (হ্যাশ) এক দিনের জন্য ব্যবহার হয়; আসল IP রাখা হয় না। নাম মুছে ফেলতে চাইলে যোগাযোগ করুন।

কুইজের শেয়ার লিংক

কুইজ শেষে "শেয়ার লিংক তৈরি করুন" চাপলে আপনার স্কোর কার্ডের একটি ছবি (আপনার দেওয়া নাম, স্কোর এবং ছবি যোগ করে থাকলে সেটিসহ) আমাদের সার্ভারে (Cloudflare) রাখা হয়, যাতে লিংকটি শেয়ার করলে ছবিটি দেখা যায়। লিংকটি যার কাছে থাকবে সে-ই কার্ডটি দেখতে পারবে। কার্ডটি ৯০ দিন পর নিজে থেকেই মুছে যায়। লিংক তৈরি না করলে কিছুই পাঠানো হয় না; শুধু ছবি ডাউনলোড করলে সেটি আপনার ডিভাইসেই তৈরি হয়। আগে মুছে ফেলতে চাইলে লিংকটি পাঠিয়ে যোগাযোগ করুন।

লুকানো রত্ন ফর্ম

"লুকানো রত্ন" ট্যাবে কোনো জায়গার খোঁজ পাঠালে আপনার দেওয়া তথ্য (আপনার নাম ও জেলা, জায়গার বিবরণ, ছবি, আর দিলে গুগল ম্যাপ লিংক বা ফোনের লোকেশন) আমাদের সার্ভারে (Cloudflare) রাখা হয়। ফোন নম্বর বা ইমেইল দিলে তা শুধু প্রশ্ন থাকলে আপনার সাথে যোগাযোগের জন্য, কখনো প্রকাশ করা হয় না। যাচাইয়ের পর অনুমোদিত জায়গা আপনার নাম, জেলা, ছবি ও বিবরণসহ সাইটে সবার জন্য দেখানো হয়; অনুমোদন না পেলে প্রকাশ হয় না। ছবির ভেতরের লুকানো তথ্য (যেমন ক্যামেরার লোকেশন) পাঠানোর আগেই আপনার ফোনে মুছে যায়। অপব্যবহার ঠেকাতে IP ঠিকানার একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত এনক্রিপ্টেড রূপ (হ্যাশ) এক দিনের জন্য ব্যবহার হয়। সেরা অবদানকারীদের তালিকায় আপনার নাম, জেলা, ছবি (দিলে) আর কয়টি জায়গা পাঠিয়েছেন ও অনুমোদিত হয়েছে তা দেখানো হয়, শুধু অন্তত একটি জায়গা অনুমোদিত হলে। কে কোন জায়গা পাঠিয়েছেন তা মেলাতে ফোনের এলোমেলো আইডি আর, ফোন বা ইমেইল দিলে, তার একটি এনক্রিপ্টেড রূপ (হ্যাশ) রাখা হয়; ফোন নম্বর বা ইমেইল নিজে কখনো দেখানো হয় না। আপনার পাঠানো জায়গা মুছে ফেলতে চাইলে যোগাযোগ করুন।

আপনার ডিভাইসে যা সংরক্ষিত থাকে

পরের বার খুললে যেন সব আগের মতো থাকে, সেজন্য নিচের তথ্যগুলো আপনার ব্রাউজারের লোকাল স্টোরেজে রাখা হয়। এগুলো কোনো সার্ভারে পাঠানো হয় না:

• যে জেলা ও দেশগুলো আপনি বাছাই করেছেন
• ম্যাপে লেখার জন্য আপনার দেওয়া নাম
• ম্যাপে যোগ করা ছবি (ছবিটি আপনার ডিভাইসেই প্রসেস হয়, আপলোড হয় না)
• থিম, লেবেল ও ট্রিপ প্ল্যানারের সেটিংস

ডাউনলোড করা PNG, JPG বা PDF ম্যাপও আপনার ডিভাইসেই তৈরি হয়।

অন্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের সেবা

• Cloudflare ওয়েবসাইটটি হোস্ট করে। যেকোনো ওয়েবসাইটের মতো নিরাপত্তা ও সাইট চালু রাখার জন্য তাদের সার্ভার সাময়িকভাবে প্রযুক্তিগত তথ্য (যেমন IP ঠিকানা, ব্রাউজারের ধরন) প্রসেস করে। Cloudflare-এর গোপনীয়তা নীতি
• গুগল ম্যাপ: কোনো স্থানের ম্যাপ খুললে তা গুগল থেকে লোড হয়, এবং তখন গুগলের নীতি প্রযোজ্য। গুগলের গোপনীয়তা নীতি
• ফেসবুক, ইনস্টাগ্রাম বা লিংকডইনের লিংকে চাপলে সেই সাইট খুলবে, এবং তখন তাদের নীতি প্রযোজ্য।

শিশুদের গোপনীয়তা

অ্যাপটি সব বয়সের মানুষের জন্য বানানো। লুকানো রত্ন ফর্মে কেউ নিজে যা পাঠান তা ছাড়া আমরা কারও কাছ থেকেই, শিশুসহ, কোনো ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না।

তথ্য মুছে ফেলা

ব্রাউজারে এই সাইটের ডেটা মুছে দিলে বা অ্যাপটি আনইনস্টল করলে সংরক্ষিত সব তথ্য মুছে যাবে। লিডারবোর্ডের নাম, শেয়ার করা স্কোর কার্ড বা লুকানো রত্ন ফর্মে পাঠানো তথ্য মুছতে চাইলে যোগাযোগ করুন।

পরিবর্তন

এই নীতিতে কোনো পরিবর্তন হলে এই পাতায় হালনাগাদের তারিখসহ জানানো হবে।

Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Unseen Bangladesh website (unseenbangladesh.com) and the Android app on Google Play. The app opens this same website, so the same rules apply to both.

In short

• No accounts and no sign-up.
• No ad networks, no analytics, no tracking. A banner from our sponsor GoZayaan appears on the maps and the trip planner, but it is served from our own site and none of your information goes to them. Tapping it opens GoZayaan's website, where their own policy applies.
• The districts you pick, your name, your photo and your trip plans stay on your own phone or computer. We cannot see them.
• The exceptions: when you download a map, only how many districts you picked (not which ones); the quiz share link and leaderboards; and what you send through the Hidden Gems form, if you choose to use them (see below).

"Top X%" ranking

When you download your Bangladesh map, only the number of districts you picked (for example 23) is sent to our server with your phone's random ID, so the page can show what percentage of travellers you are ahead of. Which districts you picked, your name and your photo are never sent, and the number is never shown next to anyone's name.

Leaderboards

If you tap "add my name" after the quiz or map puzzle, the name you enter and your result (score, time, mistakes) are stored on our server and shown publicly on the leaderboard. A random ID is kept on your phone so only your best result is listed. To prevent cheating, a short one-way hash of your IP address is used for one day; the IP itself is not stored. Contact us to have your name removed.

Quiz share links

When you tap "create share link" after the quiz, an image of your score card (with the name, score and photo you added, if any) is stored on our server (Cloudflare) so the picture shows when the link is shared. Anyone with the link can see the card. Cards are deleted automatically after 90 days. Nothing is sent unless you create a link; downloading the image creates it on your device only. To have a card removed sooner, contact us with the link.

Hidden Gems form

If you suggest a place on the "Hidden Gems" tab, what you send (your name and district, the place's details, the photos, and a Google Maps link or your phone's location if you add one) is stored on our server (Cloudflare). A phone number or email, if you give one, is only used to contact you with questions and is never published. Once checked, approved places are shown on the site to everyone with your name, district, photos and description; places that aren't approved are not published. Hidden data inside the photos (such as the camera's location) is removed on your phone before sending. To prevent abuse, a short encrypted form (hash) of your IP address is used for one day. The top contributors list shows your name, district, photo (if you add one) and how many places you have sent and had approved, once at least one of your places is approved. To match places to the same person, a random ID for your phone and, if you give a phone number or email, an encrypted form (hash) of it are kept; the number or email itself is never shown. To have a place you sent removed, get in touch.

What is stored on your device

So that everything is still there next time, the following is kept in your browser's local storage. None of it is sent to any server:

• the districts and countries you have selected
• the name you enter for your map
• a photo you add to your map (it is processed on your device and never uploaded)
• theme, label and trip planner settings

Maps you download as PNG, JPG or PDF are also created on your device.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare hosts the website. Like any website host, its servers briefly process technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Google Maps: when you open the map for a place, it loads from Google and Google's policy applies. Google Privacy Policy
• Links to Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn open those sites, where their own policies apply.

Children's privacy

The app is made for a general audience. Apart from what someone chooses to send through the Hidden Gems form, we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Clear this site's data in your browser, or uninstall the app, and everything stored is removed. To remove a leaderboard name, a shared score card or a place you sent through the Hidden Gems form, get in touch.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date.
