📜 How Khagrachhari got its name
Plenty of khagra (reeds) grew on both banks of a chhara (hill stream) here. 'Khagra' and 'chhara' together gave the name Khagrachhari.

Khagrachhari is about 270 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 6–7 hours.
