📜 How Rajbari got its name

The story goes that the Rajas of Lakshmikol had a huge rajbari (palace) here. The whole area came to be known as Rajbari after it.

How to get to Rajbari

Rajbari is about 136 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 3–3.5 hours.

  • 🚌 By bus: Rajbari buses from Gabtoli via the Paturia–Daulatdia ferry, fare ৳300–450.
  • 🚆 By train: To Rajbari via Bhanga on the Padma Bridge rail link.
