📜 How Madaripur got its name

The story goes that the Sufi saint Hazrat Badiuddin Shah Madar came to this area. The name Madaripur comes from him.

Madaripur is about 100 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 2–2.5 hours (via the Padma Bridge).
