📜 How Kushtia got its name
There are several theories about the name. One is that a lot of kush (a kind of grass) grew here, giving Kushtia. Another says it comes from the Persian word 'kushtah'.
How to get to Kushtia
Kushtia is about 200 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 5 hours.

- 🚆 By train: Sundarban/Chitra Express from Kamalapur to Poradah or Bheramara.
