⭐ Famous food and products of Faridpur

The earlier name was Fatehabad. The area was later named Faridpur after the Sufi saint Shah Fariduddin Masud.

Faridpur is about 120 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 2.5–3 hours (via the Padma Bridge).

🚌 By bus: Buses to Faridpur via the Padma Bridge from Jatrabari/Gulistan (Golden Line, South Line and others), fare ৳300–500.
🚆 By train: Trains from Kamalapur via Bhanga on the Padma Bridge rail link.

The poet's family home and memorial museum at Ambikapur; the Kumar River is next to it.
