📜 How Pabna got its name
There are various theories about the name. Some say it comes from the ancient kingdom of Pundra, others from 'Padmavati' (the Padma River).
How to get to Pabna
Pabna is about 160 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 4 hours.
- 🚌 By bus: Pabna Express, Shyamoli, Hanif from Gabtoli; fare ৳450–650.
- 🚆 By train: Dhalarchar Express to Pabna; or North Bengal trains to Ishwardi.
