📜 How Pirojpur got its name
The story goes that Firoz Shah, a descendant of the Mughal prince Shah Shuja, took refuge here in Mughal times. Over time 'Firozpur' became Pirojpur.

Pirojpur is about 210 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 5–6 hours.
