📜 How Bogura got its name
Nasiruddin Bughra Khan, son of the Sultan Ghiyasuddin Balban, ruled this region in 1279–1282. Bogura is named after him.
How to get to Bogura
Bogura is about 200 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 4–5 hours.
