History and details
Khoiyachora Waterfall is in the hill forest of Khoiyachora union, Mirsarai; the area has been protected since it became Baraiyadhala National Park in 2010. The waterfall has 9 big steps and countless small ones, which has made it known as one of the country's biggest waterfalls.
From the main road you take a village path, cross paddy fields, then follow the stream bed over bamboo bridges to the waterfall. Reaching the first step is fairly easy, but the upper steps need climbing steep rocks with ropes — best for experienced trekkers.
Besides Khoiyachora, the Mirsarai area has many waterfalls such as Napittachora, Bawachora and Sonaichhari, plus Mohamaya Lake, so many people spend two days exploring it.
