Naldanga Rajbari Temples travel guide

History and background

The Naldanga royal family ruled this area from the 16th century. The rajbari area has a complex of several temples, including the Siddheshwari Kali Temple, on the bank of the Begabati River.

How to get to Naldanga Rajbari Temples

In Kaliganj upazila.

Jhenaidah is about 220 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 5 hours.

• 🚌 By bus: Jhenaidah/Kushtia buses from Gabtoli (SB, Hanif, Shyamoli), fare ৳500–700.

Where to stay

The district town has basic and mid-range hotels (roughly ৳800–2,500). Government circuit houses and dak bungalows can be used with permission.
