History and background
A three-storey temple built by Ramnath Bhaduri in the first half of the 18th century, with nine spires (ratna) on top — hence the name Nabaratna. It is known as the largest nabaratna temple in the country; its walls have terracotta decoration.
How to get to Hatikumrul Nabaratna Temple
At Ullapara, near Hatikumrul crossing.
Sirajganj is about 140 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 3–3.5 hours.
- 🚌 By bus: North Bengal-bound buses from Mohakhali/Gabtoli to Sirajganj Road or town, fare ৳350–500.
- 🚆 By train: North Bengal-bound trains to Jamtail or Sirajganj.
