The ruins of a Manasa temple and zamindar house about 400 years old at Dhanuka, Shariatpur Sadar. Many folk tales are tied to it in local tradition.

How to get to Dhanuka Manasa Bari

At Dhanuka near Shariatpur town; by auto.

Shariatpur is about 80 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 2 hours (via the Padma Bridge).

• 🚌 By bus: Shariatpur buses via the Padma Bridge from Gulistan/Jatrabari, fare ৳200–350.
• 🚢 By launch: Launch from Sadarghat to Sureshwar/Naria.

Where to stay

The district town has basic and mid-range hotels (roughly ৳800–2,500). Government circuit houses and dak bungalows can be used with permission.
