📜 How Thakurgaon got its name
There was a large settlement of Thakur or Brahmin families here. 'Thakurder gaon' (village of the Thakurs) gave the name Thakurgaon.
How to get to Thakurgaon
Thakurgaon is about 400 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 8–9 hours.
