History and background
The estate office of the Tagore family's Kaligram pargana; Rabindranath came here to manage the estate from 1891. With part of his Nobel Prize money he set up an agricultural bank here. The house on the bank of the Nagar River is now a museum.

Naogaon is about 250 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 5–6 hours.
