History and background
In 1458 King Dharma Manikya of Tripura had this pond of about 23 acres dug to ease his subjects' water shortage. In the centre of Cumilla town, its banks have rows of trees and a walking path, with the city park beside it.
How to get to Dharmasagar Dighi
In the centre of Cumilla town.
Cumilla is about 100 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 2–2.5 hours.

- 🚆 By train: Chattogram/Noakhali-bound trains from Kamalapur to Cumilla, fare ৳150–400.
