History and background
A Buddha statue about 32 ft tall in the Rakhine village of Mishripara near Kuakata, claimed to be one of the largest in the subcontinent. Next to it are an old well and the Rakhine weaving village.
How to get to Mishripara Buddhist Vihara
About 8 km from Kuakata.
Patuakhali is about 270 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 6–7 hours (to Kuakata).

- 🚢 By launch: Launch from Sadarghat to Patuakhali/Kalapara, then bus to Kuakata.
