History and background
Dakshindihi village in Phultala was the home of Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws; his wife Mrinalini Devi (Bhabatarini) came from here. The poet's mother, Sarada Sundari Devi, was also born in this village. The house has been restored as a memorial museum.
How to get to Rabindra Complex, Dakshindihi
In Phultala upazila; about 20 km from Khulna.
Khulna is about 230 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 4–5 hours (via the Padma Bridge).
