History and background
A ten-domed mosque built by Sultan Nusrat Shah in 1523–24. The terracotta decoration of mango trees, vines and flowers on its walls and mihrab is a unique example of Sultanate art. It appeared on the old 50-taka note and on stamps.
How to get to Bagha Mosque
In Bagha upazila; about 40 km from Rajshahi.
Rajshahi is about 250 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 5–6 hours.
