History and background
A three-domed mosque built in 1793, in the reign of Emperor Shah Alam II. Muslim craftsmen from the west who came to build the Kantajew Temple are said to have settled in Nayabad village and built it. Its walls have terracotta decoration.
How to get to Nayabad Mosque
In Kaharol upazila, near the Kantajew Temple.
Dinajpur is about 330 km from Dhaka; the journey takes 7–8 hours.
